Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: July 9, 2026

This Return, Refund & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Elexbot, operated by Sagarmax Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

 

1. General Policy

Elexbot supplies electronic components, development boards, robotics products, sensors, modules, displays, tools, accessories, and other related products.

Due to the sensitive nature of electronic products and components, all return, replacement, refund, and warranty requests are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Policy.

 

2. Reporting an Issue

Customers must report any issue with their order within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims received after this period may not be accepted.

  • Order Number

  • Product Name

  • Description of the issue

  • Photographs (if applicable)

3. Eligible Claims

Subject to verification by Elexbot, a replacement or refund request may be considered if:

  • The wrong product was delivered.

  • The wrong quantity was delivered.

  • The product was damaged during transit.

  • The product was Dead on Arrival (DOA).

  • A manufacturing defect is identified on an eligible product.

  • An item is missing from the shipment.

Approval of any claim is at the sole discretion of Elexbot after inspection and verification.

 

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video

An uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory for claims involving:

  • Transit damage

  • Missing items

  • Wrong products

  • Wrong quantity

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA) products

The recording must clearly show:

  • The sealed shipping package before opening

  • The shipping label

  • Opening of the package without interruption

  • All contents of the package

  • The condition of every product received

Edited, paused, incomplete, or interrupted videos may not be accepted as evidence.

Failure to provide the required unboxing video may result in rejection of the claim.

 

5. Return Eligibility

Where a return is approved, the product must:

  • Be returned in its original condition.

  • Include all accessories, manuals, cables, and packaging supplied with the product.

  • Not have been intentionally damaged or modified.

  • Not show evidence of misuse or abuse.

Elexbot reserves the right to inspect all returned products before approving any replacement or refund.

 

6. Electronic Components (Non-Returnable)

Due to their highly sensitive nature and susceptibility to damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD), improper handling, soldering, reverse polarity, over-voltage, over-current, contamination, or improper storage, raw electronic components are strictly non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-replaceable once delivered.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Resistors

  • Capacitors

  • Inductors

  • Diodes

  • LEDs

  • Transistors

  • MOSFETs

  • Integrated Circuits (ICs)

  • Voltage Regulators

  • Crystals & Oscillators

  • Relays

  • Switches

  • Connectors

  • Headers

  • Terminal Blocks

  • Fuses

  • Passive Components

  • Semiconductors

  • Discrete Electronic Components

  • Similar electronic parts

Returns, replacements, or refunds will not be provided for these products due to:

  • Incorrect selection by the customer

  • Incompatibility with the customer’s application

  • Improper installation

  • Incorrect soldering

  • Reverse polarity

  • Electrical damage

  • Failure during use

  • Customer handling errors

  • Electrostatic discharge (ESD)

  • Any other issue occurring after delivery

Exception

If Elexbot ships:

  • the wrong product,

  • the wrong specification,

  • or the wrong quantity,

the customer must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the mandatory uninterrupted unboxing video.

Upon verification, Elexbot will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund, where applicable.

 

7. High-Value Electronics Inspection

Products such as, but not limited to:

  • Raspberry Pi boards

  • Development boards

  • Arduino boards

  • ESP series boards

  • Displays

  • Camera modules

  • Robotics controllers

  • Communication modules

  • Industrial modules

  • Power supplies

  • Servo motors

  • Stepper motors

  • Other high-value electronic products

may undergo inspection and functional testing before any replacement or refund is approved.

Where necessary, Elexbot may forward the product to the manufacturer, importer, distributor, or authorized service partner for technical evaluation.

The inspection process may require additional time before a final decision is communicated.

Replacement or refund will be approved only if the product is confirmed to have a genuine manufacturing defect, transit damage, or Dead on Arrival (DOA) condition.

 

8. Products Not Eligible for Return

The following products are generally not eligible for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Products physically damaged after delivery.

  • Products with broken connectors or pins.

  • Products with damaged PCB tracks.

  • Products exposed to moisture or liquids.

  • Products damaged due to incorrect wiring.

  • Products damaged due to reverse polarity.

  • Products damaged due to over-voltage or over-current.

  • Products damaged due to electrostatic discharge (ESD).

  • Products modified, repaired, soldered, or altered by the customer.

  • Products with removed or damaged labels, serial numbers, or warranty stickers.

  • Products showing signs of misuse or negligence.

  • Software licenses, activation keys, or downloadable digital products.

  • Clearance or special-order items specifically marked as non-returnable.

 

9. Product Compatibility

Customers are solely responsible for verifying:

  • Compatibility

  • Electrical specifications

  • Operating voltage

  • Current requirements

  • Dimensions

  • Interfaces

  • Pin configuration

  • Communication protocols

  • Software compatibility

  • Suitability for the intended application

Returns or replacements will not be accepted because a product is incompatible with a customer’s project, system, or design.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review the technical specifications provided on the product page before placing an order.

 

10. Technical Support & Warranty

Technical Support

Elexbot provides product descriptions, technical specifications, images, and datasheets (where available) on the respective product pages.

However, Elexbot does not provide:

  • Project development assistance

  • Programming support

  • Coding assistance

  • Circuit debugging

  • Wiring guidance

  • Design consultation

  • Product integration services

  • One-to-one technical support via phone, email, WhatsApp, or any other communication channel

Customers are expected to possess the necessary technical knowledge to safely and correctly use the products they purchase.

Warranty

Unless explicitly stated on the product page, products are sold without any additional seller warranty.

Where a manufacturer provides a warranty, such warranty shall be governed solely by the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse

  • Improper installation

  • Reverse polarity

  • Electrical damage

  • Physical damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions

Warranty claims, where applicable, may require inspection by Elexbot, the manufacturer, importer, or an authorized service provider before approval.



Return, Refund & Warranty Policy (Part 2)

This document is a continuation of the Return, Refund & Warranty Policy.

 

11. Inspection Process

All products approved for return, replacement, or warranty evaluation shall undergo inspection upon receipt by Elexbot.

During the inspection process, we may verify, including but not limited to:

  • Physical condition of the product

  • Functional operation

  • Signs of misuse or improper handling

  • Evidence of soldering, repair, or modification

  • Serial numbers, labels, and warranty stickers

  • Completeness of accessories and packaging

  • Nature of the reported defect

For selected products, Elexbot reserves the right to perform functional testing or forward the product to the manufacturer, importer, distributor, or an authorized service provider for technical evaluation.

Inspection timelines may vary depending on the product category and the nature of the issue.

Approval of any replacement, repair, or refund shall be based solely on the outcome of the inspection.

 

12. Replacement Policy

Where a claim is approved, Elexbot may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the product with the same model, subject to stock availability.

  • Replace the product with an equivalent model of similar specifications (with the customer’s consent where the replacement differs materially).

  • Offer a refund if a replacement is not possible.

Replacement products shall not extend or renew any applicable manufacturer’s warranty unless expressly provided by the manufacturer.

 

13. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be processed after:

  • The claim has been approved.

  • The returned product (where applicable) has been received by Elexbot.

  • Inspection has been completed.

  • The product is found to be eligible under this Policy.

Approved refunds will generally be issued through:

  • The original payment method used for the purchase; or

  • Bank transfer, where the original payment method is unavailable or impractical.

Refund processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions. While Elexbot will initiate approved refunds promptly, we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers.

Shipping charges, return shipping charges, convenience fees, or payment gateway charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on the part of Elexbot.

 

14. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and shall instead be governed by this Return, Refund & Warranty Policy.

Elexbot reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Stock unavailability

  • Pricing or typographical errors

  • Duplicate orders

  • Payment verification failure

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Regulatory or legal requirements

  • Operational or technical issues

If Elexbot cancels an order before dispatch, any payment received for the cancelled item(s) will be refunded through the original payment method or another suitable method.

 

15. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate:

  • Name

  • Shipping address

  • PIN code

  • Contact number

  • Email address

Elexbot shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping charges, or returned shipments resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Where a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, customer unavailability, refusal to accept delivery, or repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.

 

16. Product Images and Descriptions

Product photographs, illustrations, and images displayed on the website are provided for reference purposes only.

Actual products may vary slightly in:

  • Colour

  • PCB layout or revision

  • Branding

  • Manufacturer markings

  • Packaging

  • Component placement

  • Accessories included by the manufacturer

Such variations do not constitute defects provided the product performs according to its intended specifications.

Product specifications, descriptions, and technical information are prepared using information provided by manufacturers and suppliers. While Elexbot strives to ensure accuracy, inadvertent errors or omissions may occur. Elexbot reserves the right to correct such errors without prior notice.

 

17. Manufacturer Specification Changes

Manufacturers may revise or update products from time to time without prior notice.

Such revisions may include changes to:

  • Hardware design

  • PCB revision

  • Firmware

  • Packaging

  • Branding

  • Documentation

  • Included accessories

Provided the product remains functionally equivalent, such revisions shall not be considered defects and shall not be grounds for return, replacement, or refund.

 

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elexbot’s total liability arising out of or relating to any purchase shall be limited to the purchase price actually paid for the affected product.

Elexbot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of revenue

  • Loss of business opportunities

  • Loss of data

  • Project delays

  • Equipment downtime

  • Damage to other equipment

  • Personal injury or property damage arising from improper installation or use

  • Any losses resulting from customer design errors, compatibility issues, or misuse of products

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application and are installed and used safely in accordance with applicable documentation and good engineering practices.

 

19. Force Majeure

Elexbot shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performing its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Floods

  • Earthquakes

  • Fires

  • Pandemics

  • Government actions or restrictions

  • War or civil unrest

  • Labour disputes

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Power outages

  • Internet or communication failures

  • Courier service interruptions

In such circumstances, Elexbot’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the affected event.

 

20. Changes to this Policy

Elexbot reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Return, Refund & Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice.

Any revised version will become effective immediately upon publication on the website.

Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.

Continued use of the website or purchase of products after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
